It’s been a wonderful Fourth of July to celebrate with family and friends as we watch the Peachtree Road Race, play at the pool, and prepare for the fireworks tonight. We are beyond fortunate to live in such a wonderful community.

This Independence Day, I embrace the many freedoms this country offers me – the freedom to assemble, the freedom of speech and the freedom to vote. I simultaneously celebrate all this country offers and want to work hard to make it better. We can do both – be proud to be Americans and be dedicated to correcting injustices, proud to live in the land of the free and committed to holding our leaders accountable. What could be more American than that?

May you all have a safe and happy holiday!
