Are You Ready to Vote?

Can you believe we're less than four weeks from Election Day? With early voting beginning this Monday, we're keeping very busy reaching out to voters and raising awareness about voting access. Take a look below to find out how you can make your plan to vote. I highly recommend voting early in person - that's how I'll be casting my ballot! And if you have time to support the campaign before November 8, we'd love to see you at a meet & greet or put you to work waving signs. Keep reading to find out how!

Early voting starts on Monday, October 17th! Are you ready to vote?

1) Check your voter registration. (Really! Many inactive voters were removed from the polls over the last few years - make sure it didn't happen to you!)

2) Are you voting early? You can vote early at any location in Fulton county. The closest early voting locations to District 54 are Buckhead Library and the Chastain Park Recreation Center, but a full list is available here.

Early voting runs from Monday, October 17 to Friday, November 4, 2022.
Monday - Friday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday, October 22 & October 29: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Sunday, October 23 & October 30: 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

3) Voting absentee? The last day to request an absentee ballot is October 28th (but we recommend you request one as soon as possible). Remember, your absentee ballot application now requires your driver's license number (or other acceptable ID) and your signature. Your absentee ballot must be received by the Department of Registration & Elections by 7 pm on Election Day. You can find more information here.

4) Voting on Election Day? You can only vote at your assigned precinct on election day, so make sure you show up to the right place! Precincts can and do change. Log into the GA My Voter Page, and click My Voting Location to see your assigned precinct.

You can also view your sample ballot on the GA My Voter Page! You can't use your phone at your polling location, but you can print out your sample ballot to bring with you, or you can bring notes. Be an informed and prepared voter!

Can you join us over the next three Saturdays to wave signs for Betsy & all the Democratic candidates on the ballot? We'll be waving signs from 2-4 pm on 10/15, 10/22, & 10/29. We'll be at the corner of Piedmont & Roswell Roads - this is a great opportunity for us to be visible at a very busy intersection! Park at the Walgreens on 3658 Roswell Rd NW 30342.

You can sign up here.
