Lt. Governor Casey Cagle’s stance is reprehensible for two reasons. The first – and most important – is that it is wrong to place the needs of a special interest group like the NRA over the needs of your constituents. The other is that Georgia is highly-rated as a great state for business. A move like this shows that politicians are willing to bully businesses in the name of special interest lobbies. Is this really the pathway to an economically prosperous Georgia? Will flourishing businesses like Amazon really want to locate here when they know our leadership could treat them the way Cagle is treating Delta?
