I am overwhelmed and honored by the election results from last night. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of so many wonderful supporters, we have successfully flipped the Georgia House District 54 seat blue!
This campaign would not be possible without all of you. From volunteers to advisors to dear family and friends, this was a true grassroots effort where a community came together to make change. Last night’s victory belongs, in many ways, to all of us.
Now, the hard work begins. Not all Georgia elections have been decided, yet, but one thing we know for sure is that a diverse group of elected officials will have to work together next year to address the challenges facing our state. I hope you’ll continue to stay in touch with me and let me know your concerns, thoughts and feelings about the issues facing our community. Together, we can affect change and build a better Georgia for future generations.
